FREED's wide variety of programs center around issues that arise with aging and disabilities.  They work with you and your family to figure out what you need, know your choices and get connected.

Connecting Point is a public agency dedicated to providing programs and services that promote the health and independence of the people of our community.

They provide a variety of services including: home care, employment services, volunteer hub and classes

211 Connecting Point is a resource and information hub that connects you with Nevada County community programs and services through a searchable web page and 24/7 local call center.

When you call 2-1-1, they connect you to the appropriate programs and agencies drawn from their database.

My Nevada County is a one-stop shop and comprehensive site to learn about all things Nevada County.  This site is a great resource for the wide variety of county government agencies and services.

Gold Country Senior Services, Inc. provides essential programs that meet the basic needs of seniors living in Western Nevada County. GCSS ensures older adults have nutritional meals, warm homes, social interaction and a greater sense of security.

This group educates and serves the living in understanding options and rights for end-of-life care and post-death care.  They empower families and communities in bringing back the tradition
of family led death care through conversation, guidance and local resources.  They provide trained End-of-Life Doulas whose passion is to
encourage conversation and help families co-create an end-of-life plan of care. They help document personal wishes to bring about peace of mind. 

One Source - Empowering Caregives improves the quality of life for Caregivers and their loved ones by providing cost-free, non-medical support while they remain at home in a safe and healthy environment.
