The Sierra Foothills Village (in development), serving communities in Nevada County, is a locally governed, non-profit membership organization that helps people remain safely and comfortably in their homes as they age.

Who joins a village?  Nationwide, many join a village while in their 50s to help form it, volunteer or enjoy social aspects of the village.  People who make the greatest use of village services are normally age 75+.

While members will pay for some services or programs, a great number can be arranged with volunteers.  The Sierra Foothills Village need volunteers to provide some of its requested services.
